What Can I Expect During the Complimentary 30 Minute Clarity Call?

The purpose of this call is to collaborate on how I can best serve you. My goal is to gain a better understanding of where you are in your health journey: what have you tried, what has worked and what has not worked. We will discuss your overall health concerns, goals, hesitations and what success looks like to you.

What Can I Expect During the Lab Review?

My favorite part! We will:

  • Review lab work

  • Discuss underlying patterns that are preventing you from achieving optimal health

  • Outline a suggested plan including dietary, supplement and lifestyle recommendations

Do I Need to be Local to Work With You?

Absolutely not - I conduct most of my consultations with the video platform through my patient portal.

Are Supplements Included in the Program?

No, seeing that plans and protocols are based on bio-individuality and functional lab testing, there is no way for me to predict exactly what each client needs. My intention is to be transparent with clients. I do not like to recommend a LONG list of supplements. I keep it as short as possible and prefer to supplement with food first!

What Can I Expect During the Initial Consultation?

You will be asked to fill out extensive intake paperwork so I can have a detailed picture of your past and present. Expect questions ranging from birth history to the type of environment you grew up in. I ask this to be filled out 48 hours prior to the initial appointment. This allows me to be prepared and make our time together purposeful. We will:

  • Review history and previous lab testing

  • Review current diet and supplements

  • Discuss health goals and lifestyle habits

  • Discuss nutritional and lifestyle changes

What Can I Expect at Follow-Up Sessions?

The purpose of the sessions are to adjust your plan and recommendations based on your individual needs.

Do You Take Insurance?

We do not take insurance. Functional medicine and nutrition coaching are considered alternative treatment options, so they aren’t covered like conventional medical care. Conventional insurance-based care associates individuals with diagnostic codes and then finds matching procedures and medications. At Maxin Wellness, we do not believe you are your diagnosis. We address health concerns on a bio-individual level unique to each client.  

However, we can provide you with an itemized receipt to submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement. Additionally, clients are may able to use HSA funds towards services.
